Secured payment by credit card
Credit card payments made on our site are handled by Stripe.
Stripe is a secure online payment processing platform certified as a Level 1 PCI Service Provider. This is the most rigorous level of certification in the payments industry.
We do not have access to your bank details. The card number you provide will be used by Stripe for the deposit payment, the balance payment and for the pre-authorization of the security deposit.
We also accept payment by bank transfer.
Security deposit pre-authorization
The pre-authorization allows us to check the validity of a payment card on the one hand and to ensure the solvency of the customer on the other hand, without having debited the account. The account must have a balance covering the amount of the security deposit for the pre-authorization to be approved.
The pre-authorization of the security deposit is made 1 day before entering the gîte and is canceled 2 days after your departure.
As it cannot exceed 7 days, for stays of longer duration, we make a new request for pre-authorization in order to guarantee the deposit until your departure.
